Frequently asked questions
How do I buy an eSIM?
Search your destination, compare the plans (data, validity, network, speed, hotspot) and click Buy now. Enter your email, pay with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, and your eSIM is emailed within seconds.
How do I install the eSIM?
Open the email or the installation page. On iPhone (iOS 17.4+) tap "Install eSIM" — or scan the QR code with another device / enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code manually in Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM. On Android go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM and scan the code.
Do I need Wi-Fi to install it?
Yes, an internet connection is needed to download the eSIM profile. Install it at home before you travel; the plan only starts when you connect at the destination.
How do I check my remaining data?
Sign in to your account with your email (no password — we send you a code). Every eSIM shows data used, data remaining and the expiry date, updated from the network.
What if something goes wrong?
Every step is monitored. If provisioning fails after payment we fix it and email you — you are never charged for an eSIM you do not receive. Unused eSIMs can be refunded within 14 days.
How does a your destination eSIM work?
After payment you receive a QR code by email within seconds. Scan it in your phone's settings (or tap the one-tap install link on iPhone), keep the eSIM enabled with data roaming on, and your plan starts when you connect to a local network in your destination.
How much does a your destination eSIM cost?
Prices are shown in your currency and include everything — no roaming surprises.
Is my phone compatible?
Most phones from 2018 onwards support eSIM: iPhone XS/XR and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and many others. Your phone must be carrier-unlocked.
When should I install it?
Install the eSIM before you travel (you need Wi-Fi to download it) and turn it on when you land. Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination.
Can I keep my number for calls and WhatsApp?
Yes. The eSIM only provides data; your physical SIM stays active for calls and SMS, and WhatsApp keeps working with your existing number.
Can I share the connection (hotspot)?
Plans marked "Hotspot" allow tethering so you can share data with a laptop or a travel companion.
Troubleshooting
The eSIM is installed but I have no internet
Make sure the eSIM line is turned on, Data Roaming is enabled for that line, and it is selected as the line for mobile data. Then toggle Airplane Mode off and on. If your phone offers a manual network selection, choose one of the partner networks listed on the plan.
The QR code says it was already used
An eSIM profile can only be installed once. If you deleted it from your phone it cannot be re-downloaded — contact us with your order reference and we will help.
"Unable to activate" / "Cannot add eSIM"
Check that your phone is carrier-unlocked and has a stable Wi-Fi connection, then try again. If the error persists, enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code manually from your installation page.
I didn't receive the email
Check spam/promotions and confirm the address you typed at checkout. You can always sign in with that email at /login — your eSIMs and installation details are in your account.
